He had the concept to be able to get the spoon and some of the yogurt in his mouth, but as you can see were all the rest of the yogurt ended up.

Carter's friend

It has been nice to have my second cousin Jason and his wife and daughter in the same neighborhood. Carter now has a playmate that is around his age that he can play with.

Blackmail

We did not have any clean pajamas for Carter to wear. So we put him in Bailey's pajamas. He almost looks like a girl. Yeah, hopefully this will not be used to show to a future date or spouse.

What a cutie

It was so funny. Bailey had her favorite hat on and started posing for me as I took her picture. My little model!

Attempting to potty train

Bailey got to strut her stuff has she got to wear a pair of her new Dora underwear. I decided to attempt potty training by putting a pair of underwear on her and see what she would do. She was not sure what she thought of her new panties. She kept looking down at them. I have not fully potty trained her yet. I guess I am still not quite ready and I am not sure she is either, even though she has asked to sit on the potty she is not able to pull down her pants just yet.

Daddy's little girl

Bailey sure does love her daddy. She gets so excited when he comes home and loves for him to read and play with her.

Nice chair

Carter decided that anything that he can fit into is automatically a chair for him to sit in.

Why not a bowl for a hat? Bailey likes having something on her head.

Carter has decided that he likes to walk around with my clothes on his head and body. What a funny boy!

It was nice to have Jared's parents here for Larbor day weekend. We always have fun visiting and playing games. One of the favorite games is Banana grams and Qwirkle. The kids especially love the extra attention and love seeing their grandparents as well.

Bill's family reunion

My kids love playing in the water. If they could have gotten in the bucket they would have.

Jared was in a competition were he had to take water from one bucket to another with a shovel and fill up the other bucket.

Bailey and her cousin Owen thought it would be nice to dunk their heads in this bucket of water. It must have been nice since the temperature was in the 90s.

Every year around Labor day weekend Jared's Dad's side of the family get together for a family reunion at Lions park in Nampa. The theme this year was rock and roll 50s. We obviously did not pat attention to the memo to dress up in 50s attire. The costumes were so cute as some people were dressed in poodle skirts and we even had an Elvis impersonator. We also got to listen to rock and roll while eating some good food.
