What holiday fun

My kids have really enjoyed having the Christmas
tree. So much that we have had to put all the ornaments
on the top half of the tree. We also have had to plug in
additional lights from the bathroom so they can't mess
with the plug in and take the ones off the tree.

little girl.

Bed time ritual

We have a bedtime ritual every night that starts out
with a tickle session as we tuck her in and ends with hugs
and kisses and a dozen I love yous back and forth.

Carter singing Super Why

My little boy loves to sing. I will hear in singing
Twinkle twinkle little star right before he gets up
and every time we put him in the bath tub. He also
started getting into Super Why and every time it
comes on he likes to sing to the music.

Family Christmas Party

Sam and I thought it would be fun to spread a little Christmas cheer by
throwing a family party for those near. We made these cute invites that
were really fun and easy to make, along with some delicious soups and
rolls made by Sam. Everyone brought a favorite Christmas dessert.
I made my most favorite dessert fruit pizza that my grandma helped me
make the day before. We also participated in a white elephant gift exchange
where I won one of the best gifts. A very cute kids bench that my cousin
Reed made that I am going to decorate with brown and blue polka dots and
put in Carter's room.

The new table

We finally decided it was time to get a new table.
We went to 5 different store before picking out this one
at RC Willey. We wanted to make sure we were
getting the best deal for our buck and we also didn't
want to settle on the first table that we saw. I really thought
the color of the table was going to match the corner hutch
a little more. Oh, well! They say that the colors don't have
to match if they are different woods. I still really like it, especially
since it will sit up to eight for our expanding family.

What a book worm

He loves to read too! He will actually go and find a
book and demand I read it to him right then and there.
