Oh boy! What a peach!

We went to the Orchard with our ward to pick peaches for the cannery. Anything that was too soft or mushy or had fallen on the ground we got to take home. We ended up taking 3 bags home. How nice for us. Carter was in peach heaven. If there was a peach in sight, he had to eat it. It was a good thing we were watching him because he would try to pick up the bad peaches and eat them too.

The purple hat

My kids love this purple hat that Bailey got for Christmas from her Aunt Kari. They actually fight over who gets to wear it. It is funny because Bailey will go around the room and pose with it on and Carter usually wants me to put it on him and will either walk around from room to room with it on or he will carry it with him. This is really cute! I am hoping that this is just a phase for Carter and he is still not wanting to wear this at 14.

Fair fun

My cute outlaws! How can you anyone ever resist these faces.

Carter liked touching the animals as long as they were not paying attention to him. Once they were he did not want to have anything to do with them.

We have made it a ritual to go to the fair every year. We mostly like to check out the exhibits and animals. I am a little leery of the rides that they are always assembling and reassembling every time. It has also been fun to go to some cheap concerts. And I am fine not eating any of the food at the fair except for the cotton candy. Yum!

The jungle gym

It was so cute to see all of my cousins kids and mine playing on this toy. We went over to Reed and Christine's house for a house warming party. What a great deal they got. I am really glad for them. There house is cheaper and has more footage than ours. Oh well! I am having fun updating my own home.

what a mess

I walked in my kitchen to find Carter covered in yogurt from head to toe. I guess leaving the yogurt on the end of the counter is not such a good idea for such a curious boy.

playing at Eagle Island Park

When my dad was up during the week, we decided to go to Eagle Island park for lunch. I never knew that we were so close to such a nice park that I have driven by tons of times. It is right off of State Street in Eagle. We had a really good time! This park is opened year round with a pond that we can swim in, a nice little playground for the kiddos, and some trails for a nice leisurely walk. It also has a big slide that you could go down, but you have to pay a dollar every time that you go down it. I am way too cheap for that! My kids really loved the playground, even though it was a little hot. We also liked the park so much we had to go back one more time to swim just before my dad left.

Bonding with papa

My dad just got done with his Cancer treatments for his prostate and decided to come up to get away for a little bit. He was only going to stay 7 days and instead he was here for 10 days. I don't know if he was able to get as much rest he wanted, but it must of been fun since he stayed as long as he did. It was nice to have him here!

Craziness right before church

Our usual Sunday can be very busy as I am trying to make sure I have everything assembled for my lesson, while Jared is getting the kids ready for Church. What a good husband!

What power

He is a little frustrated because he can't get the chair to move on the carpet. I think he thinks this is a stroller, or cart that he can push. He usually pushes them all around the kitchen floor.

Play time

Bailey and Carter playing with my cousin Reed's kids. They all were intrigued with this car toy. I almost had to take it away because they all wanted it for themselves.

My little dare devil

Carter is demonstrating his acrobats while standing on the rocking chair. I swear he has no fear, or maybe the little boy is coming out in him. He now likes to stand up in the cart while at the store. I really have to keep my eyes on him because he is still able to stand up even with the seat belt on.
